Assignment: Design a garden that has always been there
A garden close to the coast requires its own unique approach. The weather conditions are different and not every plant feels at home in this environment. Nature tends to take control very quickly.
This basic idea corresponded to the wishes of the client, who wanted the garden to have an ‘uncontrived’ feel: natural and appropriate to the location. The architecture is of the same order as the garden we created here: basic, honest and robust.
An additional advantage is that the garden requires almost zero maintenance. Which is exactly what you want in a place where you come to relax.
