Assignment: A pretty flowering garden for residents with care needs
This garden was specially designed for a vulnerable group of elderly residents. The assignment required a considered approach; we had to make sure that the residents felt comfortable in a natural open environment, which is also safe and secure thanks to the enclosed areas.
In addition to sunny spots, several shady areas have been created and consideration has been given to a range of therapy options. The varied choice of plants means that residents can also enjoy views of changing seasonal landscapes from their care home.
