Assignment: A spacious woodland garden with space for different hobbies.
A large, multifunctional garden has been created by merging two plots. The spacious garage, the swimming pool, the areas for sports and play, lounging and eating with family and friends - everything has its place and is connected in an easy-going, natural manner. Indisputably an ideal garden for this family.
The veranda and the rooms in the basement flow naturally into the garden. The glass wall on the side of the veranda mutes the sound of the vehicles on the busy road.
The client’s desire for a large garage proved challenging. The zoning plan did not allow this. But after studying the zoning plan and talking to the municipal planning department, we produced a design for a sunken garage that would be less prominently visible. The planning department approved the design and agreed an exemption.
